Sophos Control Center: firewall settings deployed to a previously standalone computer are not retained

Issue
This issue occurs when you use Sophos Control Center to deploy firewall settings to a previously unmanaged computer that has Sophos Anti-Virus and Sophos firewall already installed. Following deployment of the firewall settings you will notice that the endpoint computer has not retained them but has reverted to its previous standalone firewall configuration.

What to do

Redeploy the central firewall configuration to the endpoint. The settings should now be retained.
